QOBUZ PLAYLISTS: We've launched four bespoke playlists for the hi-resolution streaming & download service.
• SONGS focuses on the personalities in this intentional community we’ve created — qob.uz/songs-brassland
• SOUNDS is primarily instrumental, always exploratory. It’s devoted to the kind of music that was called post-rock when we started out & more recently might be referred to as indie classical or genre-fluid — qob.uz/sounds-brassland
• COVERS contains songs written by people other than the performing artist. From Bartees Strange's album of The National covers SAY GOODBYE TO PRETTY BOY to Doveman covering the entire FOOTLOOSE soundtrack to This Is The Kit's wonderful takes on everyone from label mate Hannah Georgas to the Peanuts’ classic “Christmas Time Is Here” to her version of “Woyaya” alongside Anais Mitchell & Josh Kaufman — qob.uz/covers-brassland
• FRIENDS features our extended family of artists not on the label whose work we admire. Yes, believe it or not, we have friends — qob.uz/friends-brassland
Thanks to them & to you and thanks for (occasionally) listening to the music we put out. Also you really should sign up for our email list:
