Faders, Rolling Stones, and Pitchforks

The National's Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers is shaping up to be one of 2003's most talked about indie records, an underground hit. Rolling Stone, Fader, PitchforkMedia.com, Magnet, CMJ, AP, ToNY, and some newspaper from France all had nice things to say.

The band is embarking on a short west coast tour next week. They play Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles (x3), and sunny San Diego. This will be followed by a month-long European tour. Lookie here for tour dates.
