Details on Dessner-Curated RedHot Compilation Emerge
As reported on Pitchfork, Aaron and Bryce Dessner are curating a compilation for the AIDS charity Red Hot. The album will be released by The Beggars Group with proceeds going to YouthAIDS. The lineup for the album will include songs by Sufjan Stevens, Grizzly Bear, Feist, The National, The Decemberists, David Byrne with The Dirty Projectors, Spoon, Bright Eyes, The Books with Josè Gonzàlez, The New Pornographers, Antony (from Antony and The Johnsons) with Bryce Dessner, Stuart Murdoch (from Belle & Sebastian), Bon Iver, Andrew Bird, and My Brightest Diamond.
