Fusilier finds himself in a headlock on “The Shot”. The one take visual is a little weird, a bit dramatic and at times feels invasive - kinda like watching a break up. We’re paused on Fusilier, wrestled into a chokehold, while he works to escape the wrestler’s grip - sometimes liking it, sometimes not so much. There’s a palpable discomfort for everyone here yet “The Shot,” with its rich piano, and buoyant horn lines, keeps us toying between the video’s hyperrealism & surrealism while zeroing in on every emotion that comes with fighting fate.
