Released on June 20, 2020
HERE IS WHAT BRIARS OF NORTH AMERICA HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THEIR LATEST RELEASE:
We're trying to release new things on each solstice & equinox. In respect for Juneteenth which always coincides with the summer solstice, we waited a few days.
The image is lichen on granite. Worcester Mountain, Vermont. This mountain has been a respite for several years, providing unasked for love and never-ending peace and grace. We love how this looks like an aerial view of a mountain forest - the macro seen through the micro world.
We'll let the music speak for itself for now.
For the foreseeable future all band proceeds for this release will be donated to the BIPOC Land and Food Sovereignty Fund in Brattleboro, Vermont which aims to “bridge the gap between the medicines and connection to the earth that have been stolen from BIPOC and sold back at prices they could never afford, to support our community in learning healthy ways to practice reciprocity with each other and the earth, and to support BIPOC Vermont based artists, healers, and farmers to have a safer/affirming space to practice and offer their services to the wider community."
